Order was 20 minutes late, chips were overdone and chewy, large cod was not nice and mixed meat in naan was burnt. Have used the Mermaid regularly for last few years as it’s local but it has gone downhill lately.

Part of our order was missing so rang the shop back to be told by the lady it was on its way... 30mins later we recalled to say we was still waiting to be told we was lying as she apparently put them in bag..... Then hung up several times saying it wasnt her problem but she would give freebies next time we ordered but wouldn't be free as we've already paid. Our boys were moaning they was hungry and she couldn't give a care In the world just said the driver wasn't available to deliver so we would have to fetch from shop ????
